Comments on line-up:
  • Steve Mandanda (GK) - Mandanda finds a place in our dream team as the best goalkeeper bought by an English club up to now. Last season he registered 14 clean sheets in his 43 official matches for Marseille in League 1 and the French Cup.
  • Joel Matip (CB) - Although he is aged 32, Matip has proven himself to be a really solid defender in his last 7 seasons at Schalke. Undoubtedly he would be able to replace Skrtel in Liverpool. His strong sides are the tackling, the passes (83.5% last season), and that he is able to score important goals for his team having scored 21 goals in his last 7 seasons.
  • Eric Bailly (CB) - Young and talented defender. He has the potential to help Manchester United in the Premiership battle. Even though he is a central defender, Eric could play almost as good when he is on the right and on the left of the defense. His strong sides are the dribbling and ball interception. However, he loses possession of the ball too easily. Eric also has problems with the discipline having received 11 yellow and 1 red card last season.
  • James Tomkins (CB) - He was one of the players that helped much for West Ham's excellent results last season. A good defender that could play both as a central back and as a right back. His height of 191cm helps him a lot in aerial duels. He is also good at keeping possession of the ball.
  • Victor Wanyama (DM) - Tottenham's new weapon in the title race. A strong defensive midfielder, his strength helps him a lot in the interceptions. He is also good at tackling and aerial duels. His weak side is that he commits fouls often. Last season he received 6 yellow and 3 red cards.
  • Granit Xhaka (CM) - Even though his performance at Euro 2016 was not on the same level he showed in his club, I'll have to say that this is the top transfer for the summer up to now. Arsenal's spent money would definitely pay back with this player. His most dangerous weapon are the passes (85.5% last season). He is also good at aerial duels and ball interception. And his long shots could be a big threat for the opponent's goalkeeper.
  • N'Golo Kante (CM) - One of the most important players for Leicester last season and one of the players with the biggest desert for his team winning the title. The tackles are the most important aspect of his football (4.7 tackled per game). He is really good at dribbling and serving through balls. His only weak side are the aerial duels as he is only 169cm tall.
  • Nolito (LW) - Nolito made a fantastic season with his Celta and this drew the attention of some big clubs to him. Manchester City bought him as they are sure he would help them in the battle for the title. And this seems justified by his 17 goals and 8 assists last season (both for country and club). Some of his strong sides are the key passes and the dribbling. He is, however, not that good when it comes to passes (69.8% last season)
  • Henrikh Mkhitaryan (RW) - Man. United's top transfer up to this moment. He could play almost anywhere in the attack which gives a lot of options to Jose Mourinho when he is building the line-up. He was key to Borussia's excellent season with his 16 goals and 11 assists. His stongest sides are passing, dribbling, and delivering crosses. His average rating last season was 7.90!
  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic (ST) - Some would say that he is too old now. But that does not stop Zlatan. Last season he performed outstandingly for PSG and scored 47 goals (+13 assists). Strong at any possible aspect of football except for that he is often caught offside and he does not contribute much in defense. Average rating last season of 8.29!
  • Michy Batshuayi (ST) - A fantastic young player, full of potential. He scored 21 and assisted for 9 goals last season.
