Verstappen replaces Kvyat in Red Bull

Max Verstappen will replace Dani Kvyat in Red Bull starting from next week's Spanish GP. Kvyat will be dropped to Bull's junior team, Toro Rosso. That's because of Kvyat's crashes in the Russian GP with Sebastian Vettel and Verstappen's outstanding performance. Max is only 18 years old and is in fact the youngest ever sports driver.

Kvyat crashed twice in Vettel last week and as a result of this collision the German was out of the race and the two Red Bulls got damaged causing a poor performance both for Kvyat and Ricciardo.

That's why the team's principal, Christian Horner, turned his head to the junior team and decided to promote Verstappen to Red Bull:
"Max has proven to be an outstanding young talent. His performance at Toro Rosso has been impressive so far and we are pleased to give him the opportunity to drive for Red Bull Racing."
