Djokovic eliminates Nishikori in the Semifinals of the Masters in Madrid |
The world no1 had troubles against the young Japanese players who showed great opposition and was very competitive. However, the more experienced player, Novak, took advantage of the little chances he had and played on the top of his abilities so as to advance to the final with the final score 6:3 7:6(4).

However, he missed them and Nishikori took advantage of his opponents weakness and returned the break at its very last moment, In the tiebreak, however, the best tennis player in the world showed why he is number one and managed to take the set with 7 points to 4 in the tiebreak.
Djokovic will meet Andy Murray in the final who defeated Rafa Nadal in the first semifinal and is going to try to defend his title from last year. Djokovic will try to win his second title at Madrid, too, after he won it in 2011 against Nadal in the final.
