Matches to follow on Saturday
(20th February)
The weekend has come and it is time for the league fixtures as well as for the some important cups. Today you can watch the FA cup, BBVA, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and many other league matches. And if you still do not know what you which matches you want to watch, here are some of my suggestions for clashes that in my opinion are the most interesting for today:
1/ Bournemouth vs Everton (FA cup; 17:15 GMT) - maybe the most rival match from the 5th round of FA cup for today. Bournemouth played some really good matches around the mid-season and showed that they deserve to be in Premier League and compete on the highest level of the English football. Even though they fight for survival now, they definitely have their chances against the hesitantly performing Everton who are currently at the 11th position in PL.
2/ Hertha (Berlin) vs Wolfsburg (Bundesliga 14:30 GMT) - This is a battle for a place in the European tournaments next year. 13 rounds before the end of the season, Hertha take 4th place with 35 points, while Wolfsburg are 8th. Wolfsburg may be a bit tired after their CL match this week and taking into account the fact that the match is in Berlin, Hertha have a strong advantage. And even though these teams are not notorious for scoring much goals, you may still enjoy the tactical battle between them.
3/ Las Palmas vs Barcelona (Primera division 15:00 GMT) - Regardless of the fact that Barcelona are 1st winning match after match and Las Palmas are currently in the relegation zone, this fixture could still be interesting considering the fact that Las Palmas perform really well when they are hosts. Despites, every match of Barcelona is a spectacle with many goals and it is always adorable to watch them play.

4/ Celta Vigo vs Eibar (Primera division 21:05 GMT) - Both teams perform hesitantly in their matches since they won some of them against top teams in their league and lost others against seemingly easy opponents. They are amongst the 7 teams who lead a battle for the 5th and 6th place which guarantee a participation in Europa League next season. Eibar are currently 6th with 36 points, but Celta are just 1 point behind them and a win tonight would take them ahead.
5/ Cagliari vs Pescara (Seria B 14:00 GMT) - The 1st in Seria B, Cagliari, meet the 3rd, Pescara, in a clash for the title. Even though there are 10 points between them, there are still 16 matches left and a win for Pescara tonight would increase their chances. They won't have an easy job, however, since Cagliari are the best performing team at home in Seria B.
